THE HIGH DESERT LIFESTYLE IN VICTORVILLE
New West at Luna is located in the heart of Victorville, the High Desert’s “Key City.” Situated nearly 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles at an elevation of 2,875 feet, Victorville seems a world away from the noise and congestion of urban living. The area’s clear blue skies and four-seasons climate provide a superb environment for everybody from young families to active retirees.
A DIVERSE & GROWING ECONOMY
With a population nearing 78,000, Victorville is the High Desert’s business hub and the largest commercial center between San Bernardino and the Nevada border. The Southern California Logistics Airport (formerly George Air Force Base) is generating many new employment opportunities in aviation, air cargo, distribution and logistics. This 5,000-acre business and industrial complex has a dedicated international cargo airport.
FUN IN THE SUN

From Little League to the High Desert Mavericks minor league team, the area has plenty of baseball action for players and spectators alike. Additionally, youth sports leagues or programs are available for soccer, football, basketball, tennis, swimming and karate. The mountain resorts of Wrightwood, Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead are all within easy reach, as are many other Southern California attractions.
SHOPPING, CULTURE & ENTERTAINMENT
Victorville residents can shop, dine and enjoy a movie at The Mall of Victor Valley or head north to Factory Merchants or the Tanger Factory Outlet Center in Barstow. Also within a comfortable drive from home is the Ontario Mills Mall, California’s largest outlet and entertainment mall, with more than 200 stores and a 30-screen cinema complex. The High Desert Center for the Arts presents music, dance, drama and other types of entertainment every weekend, as well as offering art, sculpture and other visual arts displays in its gallery.
